    CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking an intermediate-level System Administrator to support an information technology project for the U.S. Army. The ideal candidate will have experience in System and Database Administration, and appropriate Computing Environment (CE) certification.

     

    Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

     

    • Provide IO&M, monitoring, and administrative support to the classified, unclassified, and additional networks.
    • Perform daily maintenance and operations support of all managed systems, remote administrated servers, and local servers.
    • Provide administrative documentation and logical diagramming support for the command’s virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) on both SIPRNET and NIPRNET.
    • Maintain configuration according to DISA STIGS (Security Technical Implementation Guide) and report non-compliance as required by USARCENT G6 and as mandated by the DOD (Department of Defense), DISA, or Army IA regulations, guides and advisories.
    • Monitor, implement and report compliance
    • Monitor, implement, and report compliance of Active Directory GPOs (Group Policy Objects) in accordance with and within the timeframe specified in directives.
    • Maintain Storage Area Network (SAN) servers for both the SIPRNET and NIPRNET.
    • Maintain all associated networked systems hardware and software to include, but not limited to, servers, load balancers, routers; switches, security devices, and tape backup devices.
    • Perform back-ups and archiving of command servers identified in the Workload documentation, as well as manage storage, cataloging and rotation of Back-up media for off-site storage.
    • Establish and conduct network and server monitoring program with approved software and/or hardware on the approved products list
    • Discuss any proposed or envisioned network changes with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
    • Perform maintenance on all network systems hardware and software, as applicable.
    • Shall IO&M physical and virtual servers for emerging requirements.
    • Knowledgeable on current software, hardware, operating systems
    • Review and evaluate potential security risks and take appropriate corrective and recovery action if a risk or data compromise is identified.
    • Ensure network devices are maintained according to the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and the network is in compliance.
    • Install Government purchased software and hardware, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software and hardware to comply with security requirements IAW the approved products list.
    • Develop and implement access control lists on routers, firewalls, IDS (Intrusion Detection System), and other network devices and maintain all applicable network devices in an Access Control Server with appropriate permissions to local network administrators and Computer Network Defense Service Provider (CNDSP).
    • Utilize System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and approved IA security tools to push patches to network servers and workstations for Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), Information Assurance Vulnerability Bulletins (IAVBs), and Information Assurance Technical Tips (IATTs) reported by the Army Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program by compliance date using DOD–approved tools
    • Ensure all IT assets are maintained in the Army directed database(s).
    • Install, configure, and manage all printers and scanners to include Common Access Card (CAC) enabled multi-function devices/printers and digital senders IAW all guidance and directives.
    • Provide level Tier I & II technical Helpdesk support.
    • Provide desk side support to investigate and resolve technical Helpdesk operations issues.
    • Create baseline images for network required workstations to include NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and up to three additional networks.
    • Provide touch labor and troubleshooting to the additional network and ensure Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
    • Create user accounts associated with each additional network.

    Required Skills

     

    • MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO OBTAIN OR HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.
    • Knowledgeable on current software, hardware, operating systems, Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), Non- classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), CENTCOM Partner Network-X (CPN-X), Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems (BICES)) networks.
    • Experience providing Helpdesk support.

     

    PREFERRED:

     

    • 5 years’ experience and Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related field.
    • Able to maintain attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Think creatively and justify design concepts with data and insight.
    • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

    Required Experience

     

    • At least 1 year experience as Systems Administrator.
    • Possess appropriate Computing Environment (CE) certification.
  • Qualifications
