    JOB SUMMARY:

     

    The Loss Control Coordinator will be responsible for providing loss control services, tracking loss control activities, assisting Loss Control Manager, and developing loss control publications and reports. The position will also provide oversight of data entry of various audits, reviews, and assignments. The Loss Control Coordinator also acts as the liaison between the Loss Prevention Consultants and the Office of Risk Management account contacts.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
      • Diary Coordination of Loss Control Officer (LCO) workloads
      • Liaison between LCO and ORM when dealing with day-to-day issues
      • Data entry of Investigation, Consultation and Training assignments
      • Oversight of data entry of Self-Audits, Full Audits, Compliance Reviews, Building Appraisals and Walkthrough assignments
    • Self-audit assignments are opened and assigned 60-days prior to the respective agencies’ audit month. Self-audits are voluntary and if not completed by the agency, the self-audit assignment automatically gets cancelled by the system 120 days after opening.
    • Full and Compliance Review Audits are opened and assigned to the LPO 60-days prior to the respective agencies’ audit month and must be completed and submitted to QC by the assigned due date, which is the last calendar day of the audit month.
    • Building Appraisals are generally opened and assigned to LPOs within the first quarter of the year and they have one full calendar year to complete their appraisal inventory.
    • Walkthroughs are opened and assigned to the LPO 60-days prior to the respective agencies’ audit month, and the LPO has one full calendar year to complete the Walkthrough inspection.
    • Handling ORM related iAuditExpert Support requests  
    • Updating information from ORM in iAuditExpert and Grid
    • Quality control spot check of assignments before ORM QC
    • Answering/Directing questions from state agencies and LPO’s
    • Training LPO’s on new features in iAuditExpert
    • Communicating new procedures to LPO’s
    • Manage Safety Video Library
    • Schedule Quarterly Loss Prevention Seminars within EventBrite
    • Maintain Training Database

    Required Experience

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    EDUCATION:

    • BS / BA or Equivalent Work Experience

     

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 1 to 2 years safety experience or professional designations
