    DESCRIPTION: * * This position involves the provision of an array of training, support, and IADL’s services with a minimum amount of psycho-educational interventions provided within the community setting. Mental Health Professionals are responsible for all client related documentation and reports as well as the development and implementation of treatment goals and objectives. Mental Health Professionals are professionally qualified and registered by the board to provide collaborative mental health services for adults. Mental Health Professionals shall not engage in independent or autonomous practice. Mental Health Professionals shall provide such services as an employee or independent contractor of the DBHDS, or a provider licensed by the DBHDS. * *

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Provide face to face activities, instruction, interventions, and goal-directed training that are designed to restore functioning and that are defined in the ISP.

    2. Maintain timely and accurate documentation of service provision.

    3. Attend monthly staff meetings and monthly supervisions consistently.

    4. Ability to maintain a caseload of 1 to 4 clients.

    5. Maintain a high degree of client confidentiality.

    6. Work with other staff assigned to cases, communicating effectively.

    7. Maintain a high degree of professionalism in the community, with clients, and with referring agencies seeking to build and maintain positive relationships.

    8. Assist in providing mental health skill-building sessions to clients in the home and community setting.

    9. Knowledge of community resources and entitlement benefits.

    10. Bilingual a Plus, but not required
