    Young Interventions, Inc. is currently seeking a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Early Intervention Specialist Mentor (EISM) in SANTA CLARA COUNTY SPECIFICALLY IN THE CITY OF SAN JOSE & SURROUNDING AREAS WITHIN THE COUNTY. This is a full time supervisory position.

We are looking for qualified, motivated, energetic and creative professionals to work with children in the family homes to help implement personalized family focused treatment programs. Young Interventions, Inc. Programs focus on a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model to guide the family in helping their child reach their developmental milestones.

    Employees will provide Early Intervention services for developmentally delayed infants & toddlers during home visits as well as supervise a small staff of Early Intervention Specialists within Santa Clara County. EISM's act as a support and resource to their team and provide new staff training. EISM's are also responsible for opening cases, assessment planning, IFSP and goal writing, as well as ensuring overall management of the territory supervised. This position is a full-time position with benefits offered.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR EARLY INTERVENTION SPECIALIST MENTOR'S (EISM):

    • Bachelor’s Degree required (Child Development, Psychology, or related field)
    • Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant / Toddler Child Development
    • Minimum of 3-5 years experience working with children 0-5 years
    • Experience working with Children with Special Needs is preferred
    • Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish is required
    • Demonstrate knowledge of best practices in Early Intervention: Understanding of family systems, different diagnosis, intervention strategies, resources, assessments, parent coaching model, routines based interventions, reflective practice, etc.
    • Demonstrate outstanding written and oral communications and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of MS Office computer programs

    ALL CANDIDATES MUST:

    • Hold a valid Driver's License
    • Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various home based sites throughout the day (within 30 mile radius)
    • Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration
    • Maintain current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult)
    • Have current TB & COVID Vaccination (w/Booster if eligible)

    COMPENSATION:

    This position has an hourly rate of $25-$32 per hour which is determined based on applicant's level of education and experience.
