YOUNG NINJAS is an after school program that introduces BASIC, non-contact martial arts skills, in a fun and friendly way to kids ages 4-9. Lot's of games, skills, and challenges! We teach our classes at different locations all over Los Angeles. EX: preschools. elementary schools, parks, and play spaces. Classes are 45-MINS to 60-MINS, after school and start around 2-3 PM. This position is part time however, the longer you teach with us you can earn more hours. Our best Sensei's have a passion for sports, physical activity or martial arts and love working with kids. Our instructors range from actors, students, comedians and musicians. Being able to be silly and fun on the job, while managing a group of kids is what we look for in a Young Ninjas instructor. You DO NOT need any background in martial arts.REQUIREMENTS:1) Be FUN and have lots of ENERGY! 2) ANY kind of active/sports/fitness experience or background: EX: FITNESS, SPORTS, GYMNASTICS, etc. MARTIAL ARTS is a plus. 3) Must have experience working with children in a GROUP SETTING 4) Have a reliable source of transportation which is NOT public, ride sharing, or a motorcycle.5) Be able to commit to an entire semester of classes (Approximately 3 Months)PAY: As you train, assistant rate is $20 per 45/60 min class, where you can train in as many as 2 or 3 classes per week. After 4-6 weeks of training, you can be promoted to a Sensei where you will make $30 per class.
