    Seeking Instructors to teach the Public Affairs Qualifications Course (PAQC).  This is a full-time position to include a comprehensive benefits package.

    About: The Defense Information School (DINFOS) is a United States Department of Defense (DoD) school located at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. DINFOS fulfills the Department of Defense's need for an internal corps of professional journalists, broadcasters, and public affairs professionals.  Members from all branches of the U.S. military, DoD civilians and international military personnel attend DINFOS for training in public affairs, print journalism, photojournalism, photography, television and radio broadcasting, lithography, equipment maintenance and various forms of multimedia. 

    Requirements

    • BA degree and at least 6 years of experience and have a combination of education and experience in similar work being solicited.
    • Expertise in advising senior military leadership (O7/SES and above) or executive-level personnel on public sentiment, communication strategy, information release, issues management and crisis communication in complex information environments alongside other information related capabilities. Instructors should demonstrate expertise in solving communication problems through research and analysis; synchronizing with other information-related capabilities; and creating and evaluating communication designed to support strategic and/or theater-level plans.
    • Instructors should be able to derive insights from analytics which are used for digital content planning, creation, and engagement. Highly qualified candidates will have extensive experience operating with joint staffs or other government agencies.
