Our firm is seeking an Elder Law and Medicaid Attorney to join our team! Seniors are our passion. Helping them through their journey in life brings us joy. Responsibilities: • Supervision of paralegals and other staff. • Represent clients with Medicaid applications and appeals. • Communicate with clients regarding case updates and application processes and advise on legal matters. • Manage calendar of deadlines and ensure all filings are completed prior to deadlines with the State. • Draft and revise legal documents. • Travel to our satellite offices as needed. • Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Qualifications: • Licensed member of the Texas State Bar. • 2-4 years of experience practicing in elder law. Experience in Medicaid crisis planning is a must. • Probate, guardianship, and estate planning experience a plus. • Familiarity/membership with the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the National Elder Law Foundation a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Compensation: $80,000 - $130,000 yearly
