    COMPANY PROFILE:

    Parentfile – Better Support for Aging, was created in an effort to ease the process of proactive involvement as parents age and need varying levels of assistance.  There is a need to find a better way to be proactive as your parents get older and post people wait too long to act.  Our generation’s secret weapon to a century’s old dilemma – welcome to life before and after having a Parentfile.  We are a small but incredibly enthusiastic company, with an experienced management team, ample funding and aggressive plans for our future growth and development.  Parentfile is a Saas business.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the Executive Management team, the Business Development Specialist will prospect and develop strategies and partnerships that will generate new individual subscribers for Parentfile - Better Support/Aging.  These can include outreach to benefits departments of companies and nursing homes, establishing an affiliate program focused on mothers, identifying revenue sharing opportunities with professional service providers such as financial advisors and lawyers, establishing partnerships with community-oriented groups such as religious organizations and other similar opportunities.  The role would suit an outgoing, results-driven, compassionate individual, who is energized by this endeavor and can support the mission of Parentfile - Better Support for Aging in forever changing the approach in helping aging parents. In living our brand, we implement “Family Time Wednesdays” from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM, in closing the company and spending time with our families. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Conduct research and establish networking opportunities, social media marketing and other types of outreach avenues to generate a monthly pipeline of contacts and prospective business partnerships;

    Comfortable making multiple calls daily with prospective parties interested in becoming an affiliate;

    Create effective and convincing written content in approaching prospective business partners;

    Maintain and build upon established pipeline of business on a regular basis;

    Ability to meet and exceed goals to achieve objectives;

    Communicate with management team on weekly progress and prospective revenue projections.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    At least 5 years of proven business development experience;

    Experience with revenue-based business development goals and achieving those objectives;

    Astute written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;

    Exceptional time management, organizational, attention to detail, follow-through and multi-tasking skills;

    Proficient computer based skills and experience with various types of social media marketing and outreach resources;

    Self-starter, ability to work remotely effectively and results-driven.

    COMPENSATION:

    $75K - $85K base salary DOE for this full-time exempt position, plus generous commission tied to revenue generated.
