JOB SUMMARY:
Customer Service Representative for a busy 5-veterinary clinic in Pismo Beach
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a veterinary practice;
Possess proficient office administrative capabilities;
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products;
Proficient and fast keyboard typing skills;
Ability to answer multi-line phone calls and resolve issues effectively;
Maintain accurate patient records;
Ability to schedule multiple appointments simultaneously;
Proficient in receiving and relaying telephone, fax and e-mail messages accurately and promptly;
Ability to handle and process cash and credit card payment transactions;
Astute verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills;
Possess high level of attention to detail and organizational skills;
Possess exemplary customer service skills;
Ability to work independently and in a team effectively.
WORKING HOURS:
The practice is open Monday - Friday 8AM to 10PM and Saturday & Sunday 8AM – 5:30PM
Working hours are 4 10-hour shifts weekly on a variable rotational schedule to cover the opening hours of the practice.
COMPENSATION:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour, DOE, plus comprehensive benefits package and paid time off
