The Managed Services Technician will provide proactive monitoring of client systems through the use of e-mail alerts, automated monitoring systems and investigation and will have consistent contact with clients, either remotely, or on-site, to resolve technical issues.
Answer support phones and assist clients with technology issues;
Manage ticket solutions, communication and time;
Manage all monitoring automations to ensure proactive solutions;
Build and support Microsoft networks;
Install and administer network systems;
Mobile device management;
Maintain constant stream of communication by managing technical and non-technical relationships with clients;
Meet or exceed deadlines for resolving issues, completing projects and data entry;
Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
Proficiency with Active Directory, SQL, Exchange, Remote Desktop Services;
Proficiency with Lync Hosted / Cloud solutions for Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and Azure;
Proficiency with HP Proliant Servers;
Experience with creation, delivery and management of Windows 7 and 10 Desktop Image;
Experience with Cisco ISR routers, catalyst switches, ASA security appliances, wireless systems, in addition to Meraki firewalls, switches and wireless;
Experience with IP Office; remote monitoring and management tool;
Demonstrated skills with scripting for Windows Administration, Powershell, Python, etc.;
Ability to multi-task, assist with project work and work well in a team;
Ability to provide exceptional customer service;
Receptive to training and has the ability to learn quickly;
Clean driving record and ability to pass background check;
Degree in related discipline.
