IMTI is seeking a Youth Athletic Trainer to coach youth and adolescent athletes through team training sessions and administer the IMTI Performance Lab Experience. Responsibilities: Team & Group Training • Lead youth team training sessions (approximately ages 8–18) • Coach speed, agility, strength, and movement fundamentals • Emphasize technique, safety, and long-term athletic development • Regress and progress exercises based on athlete readiness IMTI Performance Lab Experience • Administer structured performance assessments (training provided) • Assist with movement screens, power, speed, and capacity testing • Clearly and confidently explain assessment findings to athletes and parents • Support the assessment-to-training pipeline Athlete Development & Coaching • Coach effective warm-ups, movement prep, and recovery strategies • Reinforce posture, deceleration, landing mechanics, and coordination • Maintain high energy, engagement, leadership, and professionalism on the floor Team Collaboration & Mentorship • Work alongside IMTI therapists and performance staff • Contribute positively to team culture and help mentor developing coaches • Follow established IMTI systems, progressions, and coaching standards Qualifications: Required • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on coaching or training experience • Active certification in good standing (e.g., CPT, CSCS, or equivalent) • Experience working with youth or adolescent athletes • Strong communication and group-management skills • Passionate, energetic, and confident leader • Highly coachable, self-motivated, and team-oriented • Committed to continuous learning and professional growth Preferred • Degree or coursework in kinesiology, exercise science, or a related field • Experience with athletic performance, strength & conditioning, or corrective exercise • Familiarity with movement screening or performance testing • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) Compensation: $20 - $40 hourly
