The Youth Flag Football Coach/Referee position is intended to strengthen our brand by providing guidance, patience and experienced instruction to guests in our sports leagues.

Job Responsibilities

· Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment by employing patience and support to individuals while enforcing facility and program rules.

· Instruct and lead skill development or game play sessions for all participants, focusing on fundamentals, game strategies, and sportsmanship.

· Prepare and execute engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the skill level of participants within the structure of the program offered.

· Monitor and assess individual player progress, provide constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.

· Manage in-game activity to provide equal opportunity for skills advancement for all participants.

· Communicate clearly with participants and parents regarding progress, concerns and program updates.

· Ensure that all equipment used in the program is in good working order, used properly, and returned to proper storage following each use in the program.

· Additional tasks as assigned by supervising director.

Education/Experience Required

At the minimum, some high school level education required.

Previous football experience is STRONGLY preferred.

Must be able to read and communicate clearly through spoken and written word in English.
