Position Overview:
As a Youth Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in the lives of young people by providing guidance, support, and encouragement. You will develop meaningful relationships with mentees to help them navigate personal challenges, improve their skills, and build confidence. Key Responsibilities:

- Build trusting relationships with youth
- Assist mentees in setting goals, and provide ongoing support to achieve them.
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote positive social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Engage in community outings and utilizing resources to support the child you work with
- Maintain accurate records of mentee progress and prepare reports as required.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that respects diversity and fosters a sense of belonging.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with youth, preferably in a mentoring or educational capacity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for helping young people succeed and overcome challenges.
- Proficiency in using basic computer software, staff must clock in and complete notes on their phone.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional training or certification in education, counseling, or youth development is a plus.
