  • Responsibilities

    KidsUnited is an early childhood development soccer center serving children ages 18 months to 9 years. Our unique training method uses soccer to develop children’s physical abilities, confidence, focus, coordination, and social skills.

    As a KidsUnited Coach, you’ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact during some of the most important years of a child’s development. Through ongoing training and professional development, you’ll also strengthen your skills and reach your full coaching potential.

    Responsibilities

    Lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate classes for children ages 18 months to 9 years

    Follow the KidsUnited curriculum, class structure, and coaching standards

    Help children develop body awareness, soccer coordination, confidence, and essential life skills

    Create a positive, welcoming, and encouraging environment for children and families

    Build strong relationships with parents and provide feedback on their child’s progress

    Maintain accurate records of player progress and evaluations

    Follow all health and safety procedures during classes and activities

    Participate in ongoing training sessions and team meetings

    Contribute feedback and ideas to support the continued improvement of the KidsUnited training program

    Qualifications

    Candidates must meet one of the following experience requirements:

    At least six months of youth soccer coaching experience; or

    At least one year of experience working with children, combined with a background in playing soccer

    Additional qualifications include:

    A genuine enthusiasm for working with children

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

    Excellent organization and time-management skills

    Reliability, patience, energy, and professionalism

    Availability to work daytime, evening, and weekend hours as needed

    Ability to learn and consistently follow the KidsUnited curriculum and coaching methods
