    Overview: Soccer Stars is seeking passionate and enthusiastic coaches to join our team and help create a positive and joyful soccer experience for children. Coaches do more than just teach the game—they foster a love for sports, promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and support personal growth in a fun, inclusive, and encouraging environment.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Player Development:

    Implement engaging, age-appropriate training sessions focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

    Foster a love for the game by creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every player feels valued.

    1. Game Management:

    Lead and coordinate team participation in league matches.

    Ensure a fair and positive experience for all players, emphasizing effort, improvement, and enjoyment over strict competition.

    1. Communication:

    Maintain clear and open communication with players, parents, and league organizers.

    Provide regular updates on player progress and team activities.

    1. Character Building:

    Instill values such as respect, responsibility, and perseverance through soccer-related activities.

    Serve as a positive role model on and off the field, promoting good sportsmanship.

    1. Skill Assessments:

    Conduct informal assessments to understand each player’s strengths and areas for improvement.

    Adapt coaching strategies to meet individual needs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Coaching Licenses:

    US Soccer 4v4 and/or 7v7 licenses preferred.

    Willingness to pursue further coaching education and certifications.

    1. Experience:

    Prior coaching experience, especially in youth soccer programs, is highly desirable.

    Passion for working with children and making a positive impact through soccer.

    1. Communication Skills:

    Excellent communicator with both children and parents.

    Able to teach soccer concepts in a fun and easy-to-understand manner.

    1. Team Player:

    Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with other coaches, staff, and partners.

    Enthusiastic contributor to the growth and success of the program.

    Hours: practices are 1x per week in the afternoons. Game days are 1x per month in the evenings. Availability across all weekdays starting at 2:30pm is preferred.
