Role Description

This is a full-time management level position as a Youth Sports Camp Area Manager at in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul South Metro areas). The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our South Metro sports camps/locations, managing and scheduling up to 40 staff/coaches, ensuring quality customer service, and coordinating camp activities. This position is roughly 50% work from home and 50% out at our camp locations throughout the South Metro ranging from Hastings to Chaska and everywhere in between.

Typical Schedule

This is a full-time 40 hour a week position. School Year Hours (September-May) Mon-Thurs 11am-7pm, Saturdays 8:30am-1:30pm Summer Hours (June-August) Mon-Thurs 8:00am-6pm

Qualifications

Supervisory Skills and Operations Management Experience Hiring and Firing Staff/Coaches Experience Training Staff/Coaches Experience in Camp Management and Customer Service Excellent Communication skills Excellent Organization skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively and independently Strong leadership and organizational skills Background in sports management or related field is a plus CPR and First Aid certification Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, or related field
