    Job Summary

    Are you looking for a part-time job that lets you stay active, work with kids, and build leadership skills? Join i9 Sports as an Instructor/Official and be part of creating a fun, safe, and positive youth sports experience in our community!

    As an Instructor, you’ll help kids learn fundamentals, encourage sportsmanship, and assist volunteer coaches. As an Official, you’ll keep games fun, fair, and safe—while developing your leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

    This is a weekend only position. Typical Saturday schedule is 7am-1/3pm and Sundays 9am-3/4pm. Venues located in South County, Ballwin, Chesterfield/Creve Coeur, Wildwood/Eureka, St. Peters, O'Fallon and Wentzville.

    Responsibilities

    Instructor

    Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focused on skill development and

    fun.

    Teach and demonstrate sports fundamentals and i9 Sports values (teamwork, respect,

    effort).

    Supervise practices and games for assigned sports/age groups.

    Assist with refereeing game play as needed.

    Help with setup and breakdown of equipment/fields.

    Official

    Understand and enforce i9 Sports rulebooks to ensure a safe and fun experience.

    Act as both referee and mentor on the field—teaching values of sportsmanship.

    Manage game flow, keep score, and adjust instruction to match age/skill levels.

    Provide excellent customer service to players, coaches, and families.

    Help with setup and breakdown of equipment/fields.

    Qualifications

    Strong communication and leadership skills.

    Experience with (or passion for) playing or coaching sports.

    A positive attitude and ability to connect with kids and families.

    Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently.

    Available to work weekends for the season (~7 weeks).

    Able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
