About the Role:

Join i9 Sports as a Youth Tennis Instructor in Eugene, OR, where you will inspire young athletes to develop their tennis skills in a fun and engaging environment. This role is perfect for passionate individuals who love working with kids and want to make a positive impact through sports.

Responsibilities:

Conduct tennis lessons for children aged 7-14, focusing on skill development and sportsmanship.

Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and teamwork.

Deliver lesson plans that cater to varying skill levels and age groups.

Provide feedback to students and parents on progress and areas for improvement.

Organize and supervise tennis drills, and matches.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during activities.

Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a high-quality experience.

Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings and community engagement.

Requirements:

Previous experience teaching tennis or coaching youth sports preferred.

Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children.

Knowledge of tennis rules, techniques, and training methodologies.

Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Ability to volunteer for up to 1.5 hours on Saturday mornings.

Passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Background check clearance required for working with minors.

Enthusiastic and energetic demeanor to motivate and inspire young athletes.
