As an Executive Chef, you will educate, empower, and inspire your team to grow and develop, while teaching best practices and sharing your passion for food. You will be an operational contributor to inventory, labor, and food management, as well as a proactive problem solver – recommending ideas for the overall growth and development of Youtopia. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 and will be based at our Indore location at 12634 W Indore Place, Littleton, CO 80127.

As an Executive Chef, you will:
- In partnership with Youtopia Leadership and the R&D team, establish and continuously refine recipe and presentation specifics of menu items
- Responsible for ordering, stocking, and inspecting the quality of all food items necessary
- Coordinate activities of all kitchen staff, instructing the team in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items
- Actively manage financial goals and targets; maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including the proper handling and storage of food, as well as maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Establish standards and procedures that allow Youtopia to meet goals and objectives
- Ensure excellence in guest satisfaction through commitment to a "Do Whatever It Takes Attitude" and a hands-on, lead-by-example management style
- Quickly address any issues or challenges encountered by the team, adapting to unforeseen circumstances, while maintaining a calm and solution-oriented approach

Required experience and education:
- Bachelor's Degree in culinary arts or similar field or Associate's Degree in culinary arts plus equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in culinary leadership
- Chef background in any of the following areas: Restaurants, Catering, Commissary Kitchens, and Retail Kitchens
- Able to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and capable of bringing creative approaches to the resolution of varied challenges
- Strong knowledge and attention to detail on BOH operations including staff supervision, inventory controls, food/labor cost, and product quality
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods
- Have a knowledge base of classic cooking techniques and ability to demonstrate and teach these techniques including, but not limited to: baking, frying, sautéing, and Garde manger
- Excellent working knowledge of many styles of cuisine
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
