    About Yumi

Based in Los Angeles, YUMI is a modern food brand, backed by science and data. We make delicious foods, snacks, and vitamins that enable the whole family to thrive. And we start with the first 1,000 days—the most essential time to build health through nutrition. We launched in 2019 as a DTC subscription food brand, delivering fresh meals for babies to families across the country. Today, we serve 3% of babies in the United States and have raised substantial funding.

We are seeking an Editor, film and photography to join the in-house creative department. This individual will be responsible for concepting, capturing, and editing video; must have a passion for storytelling and the capability to translate raw footage into compelling assets. He/she will also be hands-on with photography projects, concepting, producing, editing, and retouching assets across product and lifestyle photography.

    In your position, you will:

    • Contribute conceptually to new bodies of work by offering pragmatic creative solutions
    • Partner with cross functional teams to develop impactful work
    • Be hands on with all film and photography projects, including partnering with other creatives to concept, support on-site on shoots, and edit assets in post-production

    We're looking for someone with:

    • 3-5 years of experience in a design role
    • The ability to solve complex issues independently
    • Enthusiasm to build from the ground up, work within constraints, and bring optimism to new challenges
    • Exceptional communication skills
