Job Description
This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the company’s sales and use tax compliance. This includes ensuring compliance with sales and use tax laws, validating and maintaining tax exemption certificates, verifying tax credits, and assisting in the preparation of multi-state sales and use tax returns.
RESPONSIBILITITES:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience preferred
Minimum of one to three years of accounting or audit experience
Three to five years of experience preferred
Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
Uses reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills,
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
