    Altrus, Inc. provides community living support services to individuals with developmental disabilities.  WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AIDES/COMMUNITY LIVING COACHES FOR ONE OF OUR CLA HOMES IN AUGUSTA, GA FOR THE 3PM-11PM SHIFT MON-FRI WITH OCCASIONAL WEEKENDS NEEDED (MUST BE FLEXIBLE). The Developmental Disabilities Support Aide provides direction and support in the activities of daily living for residents in company-operated group homes. The group home setting serves individuals in a safe and nurturing environment where they may receive personal support, transportation, assistance with meal preparation and shopping. The Aide works to provide the services needed by each individual living in the home.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be at least 18 years old;
    • 1 or more years of experience working successfully with elderly and/or developmentally disabled individuals;
    • Ability to perform all personal support duties as needed to support the person's care plan;
    • Current driver's license;
    • Current CPR/First Aid certification;
    • CPI Certification;
    • Current TB screening;
    • Fingerprints and acceptable criminal background report; and,
    • Basic computer skills.

     

    This position is located in Martinez, GA.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

    Bachelors degree in related field and/or Consumable sales work experience preferred

    *Valid and current drivers license required; Must have ability to drive to customer locations to establish rapports, as well as, deliver product in person when possible

    *Ability to discuss technical aspects of Consumable products in a professional and persuasive manner with customer

    *Previous development of sales territory experience preferred and ability to “close” the sale is a must

    *Proficient computer skills; Knowledge with MS Office, Saleslogix and SAP preferred

    *Must be ambitious and eager to develop new customers – not just maintain accounts

    *Ability to work closely with Makino Machines Sales Engineers and partner with them to drive the SST Consumable strategy

    *Partner with the Consumable Operations Groups and work in tandem to promote a team environment

    *Develop solutions if problems arise and resolve in a professional manner; work closely with Operations Team Leaders and Office Sales Manager to do so
