Responsibilities: • Manage family law cases in accordance with firm direction and directives. • Deliver top-notch customer service and build strong relationships with clients. • Undertake complete responsibility for the strategy of a client's case. • Engage in legal research and analysis. • Engage in court hearings, trials, and depositions. • Undertake negotiations or mediation on behalf of clients. • Collaborate with other team members to meet clients' complex needs. Qualifications: The most important qualifications are that you: • You are excellent at time management and know how to maximize the use of your calendar to ensure that your billable targets are met, your legal assistant and paralegal are clear on their tasks, and you deliver an incredible client experience. • Demonstrate a commitment to continuing legal education. • You can develop the strategy of a case based on the goals of the client, and you know where to find the rules and case law to back up that case strategy. • You are comfortable in a courtroom and know how to project confidence and competence when representing our clients. • You excel at setting realistic expectations for our clients and managing those expectations as the case progresses.
