We are seeking a creative, motivated Marketing Assistant to help us create brand awareness and connect with those who would benefit from our services. You will work under the direction of a Marketing Director and collaborate closely with the firm’s CEO as well as an external marketing agency, NickelBronx. Salary is commensurate with skills and experience. The compensation package includes a base salary, plus bonus compensation for production and performance. We offer a generous benefits package including contribution to health insurance, 401(k) match, and paid time off. The first ninety (90) days of employment, this role will be in-person for hands-on training. After the first 90 days, the role will be hybrid with two days in the office and three days virtual. Your application should include the following: (1) A cover letter that explains what you believe are the three most important qualities or values for a marketing assistant working for a law firm serving people going through a divorce or estate planning matter (2) Your resume Responsibilities: • Serve as a brand ambassador internally and externally, and work closely across departments to ensure compliance with brand guidelines to maintain a cohesive brand identity • Assist with planning digital and in-person events for potential clients, referral sources, and community members • Collaborate with our Marketing Director to create and maintain a marketing calendar, and produce valuable content for multiple channels, including the firm’s blog, social media, website, and email marketing • Assist in filming and editing short-form marketing videos for use on social media, and across other digital marketing channels • Measure performance of digital and back-end marketing efforts • Implement back-end marketing efforts including nurturing relationships with existing referral sources and establishing new ones Qualifications: • You are a marketing enthusiast with the creative and organizational talent to help us to expand our enterprising business • You bring a high level of energy, positivity, and can-do attitude to work every day • You are a quick learner with a natural curiosity and an ability to spot trends and patterns and adjust marketing initiatives accordingly • You are adaptable and excited about the idea of experimenting with new marketing strategies and doing A/B testing • You have an eye for design and great attention to detail • You are a strong creative writer adept at writing content for multiple audiences • You have proven experience as a marketing assistant or in a similar role; prior law firm experience is helpful, but not essential • Working knowledge of any of the following is a huge plus: Canva, HubSpot, ClickFunnels, CallRail, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and/or Asana • You are someone who looks forward to project-based work and requires little supervision to complete tasks and holds their work product to high standards • You appreciate the value of streamlined policies and procedures to ensure that work product is consistent and high quality. We need someone who will help us build great systems to measure our efforts against the results • We are growing, and you will occasionally be called upon to wear many hats - you are someone who is not afraid to pitch in and help where the team needs it Compensation: $42,000 - $60,000 DOE
