We distribute goods used by other businesses including but not limited to fasteners, packaging supplies, safety supplies, abrasives, and adhesives. Our company currently services a diverse range of customers including manufacturers (OEMs), construction companies, and retailers. We are currently seeking a high energy, organized and reliable team player to join our inside sales department. Because of the fast pace requirements of the job itself, our sales support representatives must be able to multitask and handle anything. Requirements: Previous Inside Sales Experience preferred but not required Computer literate Attention to work detail Ability to work with little to no supervision Positive and Confident Attitude Professional & Ethical Great Communication & Listening skills Organized with names and information Able to handle challenges or issues with internal/external customers and posses problem solving abilities RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Responsible for sales support functions Responding to order exceptions, taking sales orders, answering phones, sourcing customer orders when needed, able to cold and warm call. Sales order entry Account/order management Customer relations skills- able to establish and maintain relationships with customer base Good phone presence and strong phone skills Possess the desire to increase sales and company growth Education and Skills & Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent • Able to keep up in a fast-paced and highly stressful environment. • Very determined and not easily discouraged with constant challenges. • Strong organizational and attention to details skills. • Excellent listening skills and ability to remain calm and professional at all times. • Excellent computer knowledge with proficiency in database management and word processing • Data entry skills • Understanding of the sales process • High energy level • Ability to perform multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred Company Description Zal Industrial is a multi-generational industrial supply house, located in East Los Angeles, California.
