Job Description
ZEISS is looking for an Application Engineer – EM to join the team at the newly built state-of-the-art ZEISS Microscopy Customer Center equipped with our latest light, electron, and X-ray microscopes. The Applications Engineer position is a highly skilled and technical specialist position utilizing application knowledge to support the sales process. This role is specifically geared towards cryo FIB-SEM application expertise and implementing the ZEISS Cryo Workflow. The scope of the role includes providing technical and application-related needs assessment, customer sample imaging, proof of concept demonstrations, and customer training.
Success requires strong technical knowledge of FIB-SEM especially in life science cryo applications and associated sample preparation methods. Excellent communications & time management skills, along with the ability to learn quickly and work in a highly collaborative environment are essential. At all times, conduct in accordance with company guidelines and standards is expected.
