    Job Description

    COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

    We are an end-to-end Renewable Energy provider, offering products to commercial and enterprise clients in EV Charging solutions, Fleet Electrification, Solar Micro-grids, Energy storage, Hydroponic farming and Rain Water/Grey Water collection systems. We have been experiencing tremendous growth in all these areas and operate under several government rebate programs that ensure a steady and reliable flow of revenues. Our company handles the entire flow of providing these products and services beginning with Sales, Provisioning, Design and Engineering, Contracting and Construction, Servicing and Maintenance. We are a licensed C-10 contractor and operate construction crews in various areas of CA and soon the rest of the U.S.

    OVERVIEW OF POSITION

    To provide on-site coordination and supervision for all phases of construction projects, including understanding design drawings, coordinating and supervising Contractors, material and equipment procurement and deliveries, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Scope of work is electrical and civil construction. Superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling inspections, quality control, resolving field issues, constructability issues, photo documentation, and communicate issues clearly and accurately to their supervisor. Excellent communication and positivity a requirement, with a minimum of five years of verifiable experience on similar projects of similar scope and complexity. C-10 electrical license needed in RME mode (Responsible Managing Employee, you will de-activate your license and assign it to the company)

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES OF SUPERINTENDENT

    • Schedule Contractors, vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
    • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
    • Maintain photo documentation of progress and field issues
    • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
    • Ensure that Contractor is fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
    • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
    • Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the job site.
    • Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously.
    • Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.
    • Issue notices of non-compliance to Contractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.
    • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
    • Relay any issues by the Owner and serve and control interaction between different Contractors on site
    • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
    • Perform initial scoping of projects to help develop permit drawings
    • Perform pre-construction walks with Contractors and inspectors to identify potential issues
    • Submit plans to Authorities Having Jurisdiction
    • Coordinate between all Contractors/trades on site

    SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

    • Record keeping and gather project material submitting and maintain records of approvals at the job-site.
    • Identify areas of work that are outside of Contracted scope to avoid future change orders.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Licensed Electrical Contractor in the state of California (C-10)
    • Experience working in electrical installations, underground and overhead conduits, trenching, back filling, concrete installation, in addition to solar installations, roofing
    • Communicate with the engineers, designers and project managers, eyes and ears of the company on site.
    • Must photo document and record keeping to maintain objective documentation of project progress
    • Ability in coordination and scheduling skills in order to keep project progress on the critical path
    • Able to perform mathematical calculations for yardage/tonnage, percentages, etc.
    • Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
    • Able to read drawings.
    • Physically lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Able to commute and manage multiple job sites
    • Computer literacy, e-mail, Microsoft office, Bluebeam/AutoCAD (preferred, not required)
