    Key Account Representative – Federal

    As a Key Account Representative at ZL Tech, you will be a part of a high-energy team focused on landing, expanding and retaining happy and referenceable customers while delivering predictable and exceptional results. With extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends, Key Account Representatives will communicate directly with clients, understand their unique needs and objectives, and recommend/position products or services that maximize value. Key Account Representatives will also assist in developing account growth strategies.

    Responsibilities

    • Originate new sales opportunities through various networking, prospecting and GTM motions in alignment with Account Executives and Account Plans
    • Help Account Executives create detailed business and account plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas
    • Generate, build and progress a qualified sales pipeline
    • Support Account Executives in progressing the entire sales cycle in alignment with our published sales process
    • Present products, solutions and services to prospective clients
    • Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty
    • Build and sustain meaningful relationships with strategic contacts within assigned customers to understand and meet their needs
    • Work closely and collaboratively with assigned account ZL Customer Success resource
    • Generate and sustain trust and credibility at multiple levels within assigned customers
    • Acquire and retain up to date knowledge on company offerings and industry trends

    Requirements

    Essential

    • 2+ years' experience in a client facing role in a software vendor or partner.
    • Experience of working with Federal accounts in the US.
    • Modern knowledge of demand generation, business development, sales, negotiating principles
    • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build meaningful executive relationships
    • Self-discipline, to drive individual productivity
    • Goal-Oriented
    • Strong business acumen
    • Enthusiastic and passionate
    • BS or BA
    • Excellent creative and critical thinking skills
    • Experience in selling software to public sector/federal accounts in the US.
