The Regional Director of Hotel Sales works closely with hotels sales staff, Revenue Management Team, and hotel General Managers to develop and implement strategy and objectives for hotels to drive measurable, incremental revenue. They are a leader in their field. They inspire the sales teams. The Regional Director of Hotel Sales oversees the sales efforts for the Hampton Inn & Suites located in Rogers, and the Hampton Inn located in Hibbing, Minnesota, the Edgewater Hotel & Waterpark, Days Inn Lakewalk, and Inn On Lake Superior located in Duluth, Minnesota. The Regional Director oversees other ZMC Hotels properties in Wisconsin and Michigan. This position is flexible and can be based out of the Duluth Regional Office or our hotel in Rogers, Minnesota. Some travel is required. Responsibilities:
Analyze which strategies will yield the best return on effort for the current portfolio and pre-opening hotels.
Develop tactical and strategic plans focusing on driving top line revenue to capture base business while maximizing hotel profits from local, regional, and key market segments.
Work with the hotel sales teams to establish goals per hotel based on revenues, room nights, and ADR by segment.
Analyze past and present trends and assist with recommendations for future strategies.
Contribute to revenue management calls.
Seek out new sources of business.
Successfully market the hotel's quality product and services with the goal of exceeding guests’ expectations.
Provide sales leadership and implement plans to achieve profitability goals.
