DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES *

• Develop or improve physical inventory counting procedures
• Investigate discrepancies between physical counts and General Ledger system
• Investigate discrepancies between POS reports and General Ledger system
• Investigate / verify reasons for Inventory Adjustments posted in the General Ledger
• Compiling inventory balance and cost reports
• Compiling information on receipt or transfer of material
• Reconciling Intra / Intercompany Transfers
• Verify account discrepancies by investigating information
• Maintain database of compliance/tax documentation for wholesale customers
• Enter expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
• Complete month-end reconciliation of assigned Balance Sheet accounts
• Prepare Inventory roll-forwards each month -sub-ledger to General Ledger

QUALIFICATIONS *

• Experience processing AP and GL accounting
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Great attention to details
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable and confidential

EDUCATION *

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting preferred
