    Summary:

    A zpizza Tap Room’s first responsibility is to provide guests with exceptionalcustomer service while monitoring use of the self pour beer tap system. They areresponsible for keeping certain parts of the restaurant in top condition (includingthe dining room, glassware station, and beer pour system) for guests and forfollowing safe food handling practices when running food and handlingglassware. They assist guests with beer and food knowledge and make sure theyhave everything necessary during their visit. They use the point of sale systemand are responsible for following safe cash handling procedures. Attention todetail, teamwork, and overall responsibility are important parts of this position.

    Overview of primary responsibilities:

    Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner with guests.

    Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains it toguests accurately and enthusiastically.

    Demonstrates a complete understanding of liquor laws and service.

    Demonstrates a complete understanding of the self pour beer tap system.

    Supports guest through dining experience including providingplates/silverware, pre-bussing, and providing guidance on proper beerpouring.

    Cleans as directed.

    Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to take the order and completepayment and set up alcohol pour tabs. Accounts for all forms of moneyduring the shift.

    Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitizationstandards while preparing food, serving food, and clean up.

    Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards

    Performs light paperwork duties.

    Is a team player and willing to assist other members with their duties.

    Requirements:

    Previous restaurant or customer service experience a plus.

    Ability to read, write, and speak English.

    Must meet age requirements for alcohol service as per local laws.
