    Job Description

    ZT Systems, is currently seeking a Senior Staff Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources Team. This role is an amazing opportunity to streamline, improve, and enhance our current practices. This position is responsible for all US Benefit programs and payroll support. Reporting to our Payroll & Benefits Manager, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the U.S. group benefit plans; including medical and dental plans, vision, life and disability, health savings accounts/flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits, voluntary benefits programs, and the defined contribution program. In addition to benefits, this candidate will support the bi-weekly payroll process as well as provide audit and analytics support to our HR team. WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Lead the benefits administration for the entire organization, including the recommendation of plan design, policies, efficiencies, and cost-saving measures.
    • Troubleshoot to resolution all aspects of the organization’s benefit plans.
    • Complete benefits plan audits, government filings, or other tax-reporting requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws including ACA and FMLA.
    • Manage employee/employer and employee/vendor relationships.
    • Review and modify Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, and administrative procedures.
    • Oversee the annual Open Enrollment process, carrier feeds, health plan renewals, communication materials, and new hire benefit orientations.
    • Design and validate reports and invoices utilizing the ADP and benefit vendor websites.
    • Manage all aspects of Leave of Absence benefits.
     
    

    WHAT YOU BRING

    • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8+ years of payroll/benefits experience.

    • High attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to collect, organize and analyze data are required.

    • Proven track record in the management of benefit plans and a strong focus on plan compliance.

    • Strong communicator with a high level of customer service.

    • CEBS designation, or the pursuit of CEBS designation, preferred.

    • Knowledge of payroll and accounting relationship to benefits.

    • Data analytics and problem-solving skills

    System knowledge of Excel mandatory; Tableau, ADP highly preferred.
