    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Your primary focus will be on research, implementation and delivery of groundbreaking computer vision AI models and algorithms for real-time waste analytics. You'll gain real-world experience developing and refining image classification models on real-world data to classify bin fullness and detect objects to identify contamination. Your contribution will help improve the user experience for Zabble's customers who inspect materials in the field every day. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the product infrastructure.

    Here are the skills and experiences you'll need:

    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar program
    • Completed projects on computer vision AI to train, test and deploy models on mobile device applications or dedicated hardware
    • Advanced working knowledge of Python
    • Professional experience with PyTorch and other standard ML frameworks
    • Professional experience with image classification and computer vision models
    • Advanced working knowledge with AWS Sagemaker or similar tools and platforms
    • Excellent clarity and communication in presenting results through charts, plots and metrics
    • Familiarity with developing RESTful APIs for model inference a plus
    • Experience contributing to academic publications on computer vision or related topics

    • This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits including stock options, health insurance, unlimited vacation and sick days
    • This is a remote position; California-based candidates will be preferred
    • Annual salary starting at $100,000
