Zadar Labs, a leader in imaging radar platforms for autonomous systems, is looking for a highly motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join our team and lead the effort in software optimization and reliability.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop diagnostic software which proves system reliability across a wide variety of busses, components and environments
• Streamline and own the software applications used in supporting FCC certification
• Develop and optimize device drivers and system software for fault tolerant operation
• Support customer experience by improving open source client and general hardware usability

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
• 0-3  years of experience developing embedded software or similar areas
• Excellent communication, people and project management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience with C and knowledgeable of RTOS concepts

NICE TO HAVES OR WILLING TO LEARN:

• Familiarity with perception systems used in autonomous vehicles or robotics
• Experience with the hardware and software components of perception systems (Radar, LiDAR, and/or Camera)
• C++, Python
• Experience with ROS
• Testing automation experience (e.g. Jenkins, gtest)
