    Legal Support Assistant

    Zanes Law is a leading personal injury law firm with a proven track record of getting injured victims the best medical care and maximum financial compensation.

    Zanes Law is seeking a full-time legal assistant to support the legal case managers and attorneys. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organizational skills, be self-motivated, and detail oriented.

    Responsibilities:

    · Review cases and request any additional documents needed.

    · Maintain client files by ensuring all documents are labeled and located in the appropriate folders within the case management system.

    · Assist case managers by contacting insurance adjusters to provide updates and/or inquire case related information, and ensure detailed notes are documented as well as checking with medical providers for balance verifications.

    · Communicate all case status updates to the assigned case managers and attorneys as tasks are completed.

    · Assist case managers with the closing of files.

    · Assist case managers by sending out disengagement notices.

    · Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or GED required; college degree or enrollment in a current program preferred

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities

    Elevated level of quality and accuracy with obtaining and documenting information

    Able to multitask and learn quickly

    Must thrive in a team environment

    Reliable and dependable with work schedule

    Excellent comprehension and critical thinking skills

    Ability to type at least 35 WPM and navigate multiple software applications

    1-2 years of office work experience

    Bilingual preferred, but not required

    Plaintiffs personal Injury experience preferred, but not required

    Experience with case management software preferred, but not required
