As a Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant, your responsibilities will include: · Managing a caseload of approximately 60-80 cases
· Medically overseeing personal injury cases following the firm's protocols
· Effectively communicating with clients
· Assisting clients in finding the necessary healthcare providers
· Coordinating medical appointments for clients
· Handling clients' property damage claims
· Managing clients' Uninsured Motorists claims
· Managing clients' Underinsured Motorists claims
· Handling clients' liability claims
· Ordering and obtaining clients' medical records
· Preparing demand packages
· Processing client settlements
Skillset
3 -5+ years’ experience in a prelitigation personal injury law
Ability to manage a caseload of 60 + client files with professionalism and efficiency.
Experience with Case Management Software
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of the Windows environment
Effective communication skills
Able to problem solve.
Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
High energy individual who enjoys providing good customer service to clients
Reliable and career minded.
Spanish Speaking a Plus, but not required.
