Brief Description of Duties:
Provide program support to military (highest ranking: O-6 / Colonel), federal (highest ranking: GS-15) and contractor audit support team. Principle responsibilities include serving as a financial and audit analyst providing audit readiness and internal controls over financial systems, and acquisition management to the client.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the government and support audit team with:
• Perform work assigned to correct findings identified by DASA-FO audit readiness team
• Interpret the FISCAM requirements, assess control design and effectiveness, advise where improvements are necessary
• Develop status reports
• Identify appropriate risk factors and will assess the adequacy of existing controls and their related design and effectiveness given those risks.
• Assist the Army in achieving its audit readiness; interface controls, business process (input, processing, output), specifically in Security Management, Access Control, Segregation of Duties, Data Management, Contingency Planning, Configuration Management and Computer Operations
• Advise on and facilitate remediation for financial statement audit report issues
• Review DoD Financial Audit Improvement and Readiness (FIAR) guidance application to GFEBS for accuracy, completeness and compliance with HQDA and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) regulatory and audit requirements.
