ZANTECH IS LOOKING FOR A AIR NATIONAL GUARD (ANG) RESERVE ORDERS WRITING SYSTEM (AROWS) SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (SME) TO SUPPORT BOTH A PROPOSAL AND THEN THE FOLLOW ON WORK. The Air National Guard Reserve Order Writing System (AROWS) is a CAC enabled, web-based information system of record that supports directly supports Air National Guard operations and training missions. This position requires the candidate to have the expert understanding and ability within AROWS to:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: ANG AROWS Program Management: The candidate shall oversee a team of experienced personnel in the management of AROWS functions such as the development of Strategic and Tactical Work/Cost Breakdown schedules supporting milestones in the life cycle of the AROWS system.
The candidate shall be responsible for the support of AROWS day to day operations. The operations of AROWS includes daily interaction with the ANGRC and 90 GSUs to support daily technical and administrative requirements.
AROWS INFORMATION SYSTEM SECURITY: The candidate shall be responsible for the support of AROWS risk management in accordance with the AFI 17-101 Risk Management Framework for AF Technology. The contractor shall support RMF standards and correct findings associated with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) audit findings.
AROWS CHANGE MANAGEMENT: The candidate shall collaborate with ANG Functional Representatives and AROWS support organizations to conduct development lifecycle activities for at least 2 major revision releases and 4 incremental revision releases per year.
AROWS KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: The candidate will know how to maintain AROWS SharePoint Content Management Site to disseminate Program Guidance, Training Materials, and Communications to the AROWS User Community. These artifacts shall include AROWS Policies, Operating Status Notices, Job Aids, Training Material, System Access Request Forms, Broadcast Messages, Release Notices, and Data Call Request Forms.
AROWS TRAINING: The candidate will organize AROWS off-site training at the request of the government. The use of technology shall be considered first prior to the approval of on-site in person training.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Security + Certification (IAT II) Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
A minimum of nine (9) years of experience, with at least six (6) years specifically in an AROWS developmental or operational role. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: PMP desirable
