POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Work 9-28 hours per week (Part-Time)
- Work 28 + (Full time)
- Must be 16 or older
- Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time
- Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. overhead
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strive to enhance our guest experiences at every opportunity by continuously training and developing all team members
- Collaborate with the store’s management team and company Market Development Manager to identify training needs in the location
- Teach, coach, and develop employees following Zaxby’s procedures and standards so they are proficient in their position
- Provide support and mentoring for team members, while conducting an evaluation and identifying areas of improvements
- Monitors team members progress in Zaxby’s University and completes training reviews
- Constant communication with General Manager on the progress of team member training and ongoing development
- Constantly thinking of new training, development, and operational ideas
- Constantly adapting training and communication styles to enhance training experiences on an individualized level for team members
- Provide leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment toward company objectives.
- Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description.
- External candidates must be trained to the Crew Trainer standard, completing the ZU Certified Trainer course within 90 days of employment
- (1) year minimum experience working in a restaurant environment as a trainer
- Experience in a trainer role highly preferred
- Proficient at evaluating and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects, and demands
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
