Zelle is hiring for a producer of components used to support storage of energy.  We're looking for a CNC machinist/programmer to prepare machinery to produce metal parts such as bearings, materials, electrical components and much more.  These parts will be used for transportation equipment such as ships, planes, agricultural machinery and much more!


RESPONSIBILITIES
       •  Operate CNC turning centers and/or machining centers, choose the right speeds, feeds, and tools, decide on clamping methods, and make machine adjustments with minimal fixture usage.

        • Read and understand work order routings, prints, sketches, and tool sheets as needed.  Meet drawing requirements for tolerances.

       • Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers, bore gauges, and vernier calipers to inspect work.

        • Do basic math calculations and solve simple technical problems.

        •  Follow company safety policies while performing duties and inform your supervisor about any unsafe conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

         • Know your way around numerical controlled machining centers and have experience with turning centers.

         • Ability to read and understand machine drawings and follow tools paths accurately.

         • Follow assigned written and verbal procedures and be able to identify machine functions.

         • Experience with different metals and use preset tools.
