    WHAT WE WILL ASK YOU TO DO:

    • You will be the driving force behind our plastic injection molding, tooling, and product assembly sales.
    • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
    • Collaborate with our VP of Sales to quote prices and credit terms for orders obtained.
    • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on prospective customers.
    • Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
    • Prepare reports of business transactions and maintain expense accounts.
    • Work with our inside customer service department to keep account activities and literature up to date.
    • Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into a database.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
    • Investigate and resolve customer issues regarding delivery of products and services.

     

    WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • Display willingness to make timely decisions, consulting appropriate people in the decision-making process.
    • Should exhibit sound and accurate judgement while providing reasons for decisions.
    • B.A. or B.S. degree a plus.
    • Strong technical background preferred.
    • Knowledge of the plastics industry a plus.
    • Ability to tactfully navigate relationships with external clients and internal personnel.
    • Be an innovator who demonstrates original thinking and creativity.
    • Excellent attention to detail.

    DEMANDS OF THIS POSITION:

    • The ability to lift up to 30 pounds on an occasional basis with or without accommodation.
    • May travel up to 60% of scheduled working days.
    • Some days you will spend most of the day at a desk and some days you will spend most of the day on your feet.
