Human Resources Specialist
Requirements:
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
Experience: Three to five years of Human Resources experience preferably in a construction related field.
Brief Description of position:
This position will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing and placement of various positions. Responsibilities include new hire orientations. This person will be responsible for handling employee benefits and working with insurance companies as needed. Will handle employee discipline and termination procedures.
Essential Functions:
Basic knowledge of human resources principles and practices
Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
Dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Maintain confidentiality.
Establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees
Create job descriptions and employee handbooks
Responsible for employee timesheets
Computer skills including Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
