JOB TITLE: Fabric Sales Administrator

REPORTS TO: CEO

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Fabric Sales Assistant will use their fabric knowledge and company resources to service customer requests and needs. They will assist the head salesperson in providing customer service during both the product development and bulk order stage. This individual will answer customer questions and engage in email follow up regarding products, prices, and logistics. They will also show the product line to clients and recommend fabrics based on their needs and request.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

• Work with a current customer base and target new customers
• Show product to clients on a regular basis
• Reaching out to customers on a regular basis to set up product appointments
• Work with sales and design department to prepare product presentations
• Engage in email follow up with customers and supply base regarding product details, customization, customer questions, lead times, etc.
• Work with those within the organization and fabric mills to source fabrics that customer’s request
• Work alongside design and sales to process customer requests
• Set up fabric development process from start to finish
• Process customer sample request
• Organize swatch/colors cards that are to be distributed
• Request fabric information from mills and send out proper FDS sheets

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge and experience with fabric or garments
• Experience with customer service
• Superior organizational and communication skills; strong attention to details and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Proficient in excel & ability to use various data management systems
