    Job Description

    Zeni.ai provides an AI-powered finance team with real-time dashboard to manage all the finance functions for your startup or small business on one platform - bookkeeping, yearly taxes, bill pay & invoicing, financial projections & budgeting, employee reimbursements and more.

    The problem Zeni is trying to solve is that startups have to hire multiple people and use multiple types of software to manage their books and accounting, including Gusto, Bill.com, Stripe, Quickbooks, etc. This doesn't provide a startup founder real-time visibility into their finances. The whole thing is extremely fragmented and human-intensive.

    What Zeni does is CFO-As-A-Service. Zeni handles everything for a startup related to accounting and finances, integrates with 3rd party software, and displays all the financial information on one real-time dashboard. You get one platform, plus a team that handles your finance functions, and daily bookkeeping with real-time updates. No one else offers this today.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Identify prospects and drive the entire sales cycle from qualification through closed business within one’s assigned territory.
    • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and map Zeni’s solution to solve their problems.
    • Deliver product demonstrations via phone and in-person (when appropriate).
    • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals
    • Track opportunities in one’s pipeline, provide accurate forecasts and report revenue in CRM.
    • Evangelize Zeni’s platform and represent the company well at client events and trade shows
    • Collaborate with Customer Success and other departments post-sale to delight customers and achieve high levels of satisfaction

    KEY SKILLS

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Work experience in a lead generation setting
    • High-caliber cold calling skills
    • Familiarity with common office software and CRM
    • Proven track record of achieving corporate quotas and goals
    • Ability to handle objections and educate prospects in a consultative manner
    • Demonstrated curiosity, resourcefulness, motivation, and initiative
    • Professional business acumen, strong communication skills, strong presence, and confidence
    • Highly team oriented – must be able to accept and contribute new ideas
    • Excellent time management with ability to multi-task, prioritize, etc.
    • Experience selling enterprise products/services, especially SaaS, or other technology is a plus
