Everywhere Wireless is seeking to hire phone support specialists who will support customers of our Gigabit Internet services. Potential candidates should have a basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and wireless routers. If you have some knowledge and a strong interest in computers/networking along with customer service skills and experience, we are willing to train advanced skills.

What's This Role?

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic IT team at Zentro, a leading Internet Service Provider. The Software Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions that enhance the functionality and reliability of our internet services. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying current with the latest technologies in the software development industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement software solutions that meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
• Develop high-quality software applications, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and issues reported by internal teams or customers.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain and improve software quality.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, and propose adoption of relevant technologies and best practices.
• Work closely with network engineers and system administrators to integrate software components into a seamless, reliable, and efficient network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and expertise during software deployment and production rollout.
• Document software specifications, technical designs, and implementation details.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging applications in various software languages.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar.
• Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and cloud-based services.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in the telecommunications or internet service provider industry is a plus.
