Summary of Responsibilities

Join our team and help us uphold our company values and mission while working within our design team to develop exceptional solutions for remodeling projects. Responsibilities include generating creative design solutions that meet the clients’ needs, producing construction design drawings in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD and Chief Architect, communicating progress directly with clients and team members, site measurements, and contributing to the enhancement of design process efficiencies, particularly in handoffs between Sales and Production.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with our design team.
  
• Develop creative design solutions related to residential remodeling projects.
  
• Assist client in material and finish selections related to Core& Shell as needed.
  
• Communicate with Engineering partners as needed, incorporating Engineering specs into the project drawings.
  
• Conduct accurate site verification and measurements. 
  
• Produce complete drawing sets independently.
  
• Produce accurate project scope to communicate effectively with the production team.
  
• Review final design and permit documents prior to submittal.
  
• Make regular site visits to ensure smooth production of design intent.
  
• Handle RFI’s from the field or clients during construction.
  
• Attend ARB meetings to guide approval process, as necessary.  
  

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

• 3-5+ years' experience in residential remodeling
  
• 10+ years of experience in an architectural design-related field
  
• Experience leading design projects from concept through construction documentation
  
• Degree in Architectural Design (or related field)
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD
  
• Experience in Chief Architect preferred
  

Compensation

• $65,000-$80,000
  
• Bonus plan (based on company profitability, paid quarterly)
