    Summary of Responsibilities

    As a Project Developer, you are a key representative of CG&S, working directly with our clients to exceed their expectations for a design build experience. You will be responsible for prospecting new sales leads, qualifying inbound leads, developing projects alongside estimators and designers, writing and selling design agreements, serving as a team lead for projects in design, selling construction agreements, and maintaining excellent client relationships throughout the timeline of their projects and beyond.

    Essential Functions

    • Prospect for new leads, including networking, securing referrals, and tapping into former prospect and client lists
    • Qualify inbound leads through phone, Zoom, and in-person/in-home sales calls
    • Establish “Trusted Advisor” relationships with clients
    • Develop projects (scope, scheme, timeline, and cost) by gathering information and working closely with design and estimating teams
    • Proactively identify and solve barriers to project progress, setting clear and realistic expectations to ensure smooth implementation and client satisfaction
    • Write and sell design agreements, summarizing project details and setting design fees
    • Present design proposal to clients and sell construction agreements, ensuring budget and scope alignment
    • Serve as Team Captain of project teams for projects in design, ensuring progression of project schedule and regular communication with clients
    • Maintain client relationships post-design and post-construction, and seek referrals and introductions for potential future projects
    • Utilize CRM to report and track leads, conversions, and other sales metrics

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, construction management, or related field preferred
    • 2+ years of sales experience in residential design or construction, or B2C sales within relevant industries
    • Strong sales skills including exceptional communication, customer service, and lead generation and development
    • Confident, trustworthy demeanor
    • Excellent organization, attention to detail, listening skills, and memory
    • Work well in small team environment
    • Familiarity with CRMs - HubSpot a plus
    • Aptitude for technology including Zoom and Microsoft Office programs
    • Valid driver’s license and vehicle for local travel

    Compensation & Benefits

    • $80,000-$90,000, depending on experience
    • Bonus potential
