    Summary of Responsibilities

    As Senior Interior Designer, you will take the lead in designing residential remodeling projects and custom homes, collaborating closely with clients, our design team, engineers, project managers, and estimators. Your responsibilities will include creating conceptual designs, producing detailed drawings and specifications, managing budgets and timelines, and working closely with clients to ensure project success.

    Essential Functions

    • Interpret and communicate client’s vision, goals, and objectives
    • Create and develop design concepts, layouts, and detailed plans throughout all phases of design
    • Produce floorplans, 3D renderings, mood boards, and other visual tools to support presentations and promote client approval
    • Lead design presentations, engender client decisions and finalize contracts
    • Source and manage final selection of materials, finishes, and fixtures
    • Produce detailed construction documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules
    • Conduct field measurements and surveys; document project’s existing conditions
    • Conduct site visits to review progress and ensure the design intent is being executed
    • Coordinate with team members, consultants, and officials to achieve project goals
    • Maintain clear and responsive communication with clients throughout the project
    • Support and mentor other members of the design team
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and receive outstanding feedback from clients

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in single-family home residential design and remodeling
    • Tech savvy including experience with Microsoft products such as Teams, Office software
    • Proficiency in Drafting and 3D Rendering Software: Chief Architect a plus
    • Ability to read and develop construction plan sets
    • Strong knowledge of architectural styles, space planning principles, building/finish materials, and building codes/regulations
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, customer service, and sales skills
    • Ability to create accurate technical drawings/specifications and effectively communicate and sell design concepts to clients
    • Personal characteristics including attention to detail, resourcefulness, collaborative and efficient workstyle, plus a great eye, vision, and passion for design

    Salary & Compensation

    • $80,000-$100,000 salary (depending on experience)
