What we are looking for:  

We are in search of an air compressor technician to become a valued member of our team. The perfect candidate will exhibit exceptional customer service skills, a passion for learning, a strong work ethic, strong attention to detail, and an aptitude for technology. You will need to take a proactive approach to problem-solving through independent research, as well as be self-motivated, resourceful, open to collaboration. You will also need a willingness to seek guidance and the ability to grow and learn from feedback.

A few must haves: 

• 2+ years of experience as an air compressor technician or related equipment technician (such as HVAC)
• Strong background in independent troubleshooting and equipment repair
  
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Must possess some mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
  
• Lift up to 50 lbs. (and occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance)
  
• Ability to climb various equipment
  
• Committed to safety
  
• Experience with high pressure air compressors and air piping a plus
• High school diploma or GED certificate
  

What you will do:

• Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain air compressors, vacuum pumps, and air dryers at locations throughout the greater Cleveland area
  
• Install compressed air lines, i.e., aluminum and black pipe
  
• Maintain organization of company vehicle and tools
  
• Maintain and organize stock at company shop
  
• Be honest, personable, and reliable in all aspects of job
  
• Consult with and advise customers on compressed air equipment needs, maintenance, and repairs
  
• Coordinate with Service Manger to facilitate service and order parts
  
• Document work performed using designated forms and submit reports to appropriate business units in a timely manner
  
• Safely operate portable power equipment, tools, and machinery
  
• Work with other Service Technicians and independently as needed
  
• Hook up trailers to a vehicle and drive with equipment attached
  
• Full time; 8- hour shifts; Mon-Fri
