    Summary of Responsibilities

    As the Sales Assistant, you will be supporting our dedicated team of Sales Consultants starting with lead intake and ending with the signing of an Initial Design & Exploration Agreement. As the first person on the Bellweather team to connect with potential clients, you’ll be our “Director of First Impressions.” A great Sales Assistant will faithfully and consistently follow our systematic and well-tested sales process, ensure desired response times, and be confident (not pushy), well-spoken, organized, and emotionally intelligent.

    Essential Functions

    • Lead Intake
      • Handle all lead intake, lead prequalification, and at times, prospect for new leads
      • Perform due diligence on the home/homeowner before the lead intake call
      • Gather basic information about the homeowner and remodeling project such as the homeowner’s expectations about budgets, timelines, customer experience, etc.
      • Uncover the homeowner’s pain points through listening and questioning, using it as an exercise in bonding, empathy, understanding, and humility
      • Evaluate and respectfully turn away “no opportunity” leads, trying to still be helpful by offering a referral
      • Sell the process, not the product. Our unique design-build process is what sets us apart in the industry
      • Assign prequalified leads to the Sales Consultants
    • Sales Support
      • Regular CRM maintenance
      • Coordinate and schedule home consults for the Sales Consultants
      • Assist the Sales Consultants by documenting the homeowner profile, project scope, and target budget
      • Assist the Sales Consultants with drafting contracts, sending signing documents, updating the CRM, confirming payment, scheduling internal meetings, etc.
      • Be accountable for monthly sales metrics and KPIs
    • Brand Management
      • Assist with marketing efforts that support the department goals
      • Manage social media accounts
      • Assist with photoshoots and event planning, ensuring both are aligned with the Bellweather brand

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • 3+ years’ experience in marketing, sales, customer service, or a client-facing role. We’re open to many avenues of experience and will train the right candidate on our sales process
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Passion for the industry
    • Computer literate, specifically Microsoft Office products
    • Social Media familiarity
    • High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills
    • Well-organized and disciplined
    • A team player who aligns with our Core Values
    • Good listening skills with patience and empathy

    Compensation

    • $65,000-$70,000 salary
    • Medical and Dental Insurance (50% paid by employer)
